Biomedical Lab s.r.l., as Data Controller, wishes to inform you about the purposes and methods of the processing of your personal data. The Data Controller undertakes to respect and protect the privacy of its Users by processing the personal data provided through the web services of this site and accessible by telematic means, in compliance with the provisions of the law aimed at guaranteeing the security, accuracy, updating and pertinence of the data with respect to the stated purposes. This privacy policy applies exclusively to the website www.biomedicallab.it and not to other websites that may be consulted by the user through external links. The collection and storage of personal data by third party websites consulted by the user through external links to this website must be considered as totally independent from Biomedical Lab s.r.l.

Juridical basis of the treatment

This site processes data on the basis of consent. Modalities and location of data processing

The Owner treats the personal data of the Users by adopting appropriate security measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of Personal Data. The treatment is carried out by means of computer and/or telematic instruments, with organizational methods and logics strictly related to the indicated purposes. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, the Data may be accessed by categories of employees involved in the organization of the site (administrative, commercial, marketing, legal, system administrators) or external parties (such as third party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communication agencies) also appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by the Data Controller. The data collected from the site are processed at the operational headquarters of the Data Controller and through the use of servers, which are made available by third party providers (Aruba s.p.a.) and are located within the European Union. The Data are processed for the time necessary to carry out the service requested by the User, or required by the purposes described in this document, and the User can always request the interruption of the Processing or the cancellation of the Data. It should also be noted that the minimum age for access to services is 16 years, in accordance with art. 8 paragraph 1 of the GDPR. 

Methods of collecting personal data through the website

The Data Controller, through its website, may collect the personal data of its Users mainly in two ways:

  1. Data acquired during user navigation. The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested parties but, by its very nature, could allow users to be identified through processing and association with data held by third parties. The information collected can be the following: internet protocol (IP) address; type of browser and parameters of the device used to connect to the site; name of the internet service provider (ISP); date and time of visit; web page of origin of the visitor (referral) and exit; country of origin; possibly the number of clicks. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its functionality. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this possibility, the data on web contacts persist for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they are collected and subsequently processed.
  2. Data provided voluntarily by the user. The optional, explicit and voluntary e-mail addresses listed on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender, necessary to respond to requests, and any other personal data included in the message. The optional, explicit and voluntary registration through special web forms on the site www.biomedicallab.it involves the subsequent acquisition of all data contained in the fields completed by the user, necessary to carry out the requests of the same. By sending e-mails to the e-mail addresses indicated on the website and voluntarily checking the “consent” box, the user consents to the processing of the data sent in order to respond to the requests made in accordance with the purposes and in the manner contained in this informative note.

Both navigation data and those provided voluntarily by the user are processed and stored by the owner and / or third parties for accounting, administrative, legal and / or statistical purposes. In any case, personal data collected by the site will never be provided to third parties, for any reason, unless it is a legitimate request by the judicial authority and only in cases provided by law. Purposes of Data Processing

To this end, the data provided, or part of them, may be communicated to associated companies or companies that are part of the Biomedical Lab s.r.l. group; people, companies or professional studios that provide assistance and consultancy to Biomedical Lab s.r.l. in accounting, administrative, legal, tax and financial matters; subjects whose right to access the data is recognized by law or by orders of the judicial authorities; third parties responsible for the technical functionality of the website.

Service supply. Data and information is collected for the following purposes in order to provide our services:

  • in an exclusively aggregate and anonymous form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the physical person-user of the site, and do not allow in any way the identification;
  • for security purposes (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection), automatically recorded data may possibly include personal data such as IP address, which could be used, in accordance with applicable laws, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or to cause damage to other users, or otherwise harmful or criminal activities. Integration with social networks and external platforms. These services allow to visualize contents hosted on external platforms directly from the pages of this Site and to interact with them. If a service of this type is installed, it is possible that, even if Users do not use the service, it collects traffic data relating to the pages where it is installed. Statistics. These services allow the Data Controller to monitor and analyze traffic data and serve to track User behavior. Google uses the Personal Data collected for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of this Site, compiling reports and sharing them with other services developed by Google. Google may use the Personal Data to contextualize and personalize the ads in its advertising network. Rights of interested parties

The subjects to whom the data refer have the right to verify the accuracy, request the integration, updating, rectification, cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed, as well as the attestation that the aforesaid operations have been brought to the knowledge, also as far as their content is concerned, of those to whom the data have been communicated or diffused, except in the case in which such fulfilment is found to be impossible or involves the use of means that are clearly disproportionate with respect to the protected right. The subjects concerned have the right to oppose the processing of personal data concerning them for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication. Data subjects also have the right to oppose in any case, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, the processing of personal data concerning them, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection. The Data Controller would like to point out that failure to provide personal data that is necessary and therefore marked as compulsory, could make it impossible to execute the possible contract, while failure to provide data marked as non-compulsory has no consequences for the execution of the request. Where applicable, the data subjects also have the rights provided for by current legislation and referred to in Articles 16-21 GDPR (Right of rectification, right to be forgotten, right to restriction of processing, right of opposition), as well as the right to complain to the Guarantor Authority.
